Gillette Elvgren Jr.
Gillette Elvgren for the past ten years has been Head of Theatre Arts at Regent
University, Virginia Beach where he teaches graduate level courses in Acting, Directing, Stage and Screenwriting and Theatre History & Literature. While a Professor at the University of Pittsburgh he directed the M.F.A. Directing Program and was Staff Director for the Three Rivers Shakespeare Company. Also in Pittsburgh he co-founded Saltworks Theatre Company, a Professional Christian Theatre Company and served as resident writer for Children's Ministries, C.S.S.M.
He has written numerous full length plays and children's plays which have been produced by professional companies, universities, and churches in the United States and Canada. He was the recipient of the Christians in the Theatre Arts Distinguished Achievement Award in 1997, as well as the winner of CITA's best full length play competition for two years.
Kimberly Keck
Kim Keck is currently the Assistant Professor of Music at Bryan College in Indiana. She received her Doctor of Musical Arts, Music Education ABD from Boston University; Master of Music, Vocal Performance, and Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance, from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
She has taught music and voice at Bryan College, Temple University, and University of Tennessee, as well as Concert Choir, Opera Choir, and musical director of several stage productions. Kim currently resides in Dayton, Indiana with her husband, Steve, and their four children.
Peggy Rosenthal
Peggy Rosenthal holds a doctorate in English Literature from Rutgers University (1971) and is currently Co-Director of the nationwide arts ministry Poetry Retreats, through which she and her colleague David Impastato offer courses and retreats on using poetry for prayer, meditation, and spiritual enrichment.
Her most recent books include: Praying the Gospels through Poetry: Lent to Easter (St. Anthony Messenger Press, 2002), The Poet's Jesus. Representations at the End of the Millennium (Oxford, 2000), Co-editor of Divine inspiration: The Life of Jesus in World Poetry (Oxford. 1998). In addition, she writes a monthly column entitled "Poetry Reading" in The Christian Century, and has written for Image and Cross Currents.
