Committees
Administrative Committee - Maintains files on all IMAGO DEI activities, on Christian arts organizations, church arts ministries, and sacred artists; maintains data base; responds to memberships and gifts; answers inquiries.
Arts Education Committee - Supports the creation of arts ministries in regional churches; administers regional workshops; creates and maintains a list of consultants.
Theology and the Arts Committee - Promotes deepening understanding of the relationship between Christianity and the Arts by planning and administering the annual spring conference of theology and the arts.
Communications Committee - Promotes the work of IMAGO DEI through a newsletter, and through the development of media contacts, promotional materials, and print and on-line resources, including a sacred arts calendar.
Development Committee - Fosters the work of IMAGO DEI by working to increase financial resources and membership.
Visual Arts and Architecture Committee - Supports the creation, appreciation, and use of quality visual art by Christians and churches in this region; creates an inventory of significant regional Christian art, administers the IMAGO DEl art collection, selects and promotes an “artist of the year”, creates a list of recommended artists, creates documents detailing the commissioning process and guidelines regarding the creation of an art show or gallery in a church.
Literary Arts Committee - Primarily responsible for the production of IMAGINE, our arts ministry magazine, as well as overseeing other literary arts projects.
Performing Arts Committee - Supports the development of IMAGO DEI programming in music, dance, theatre, and film; administers the IMAGO DEI ensembles. It is also responsible for the fine arts Summer Season.
