We are seeking quality original submissions in a variety of art forms, not previously published. All submissions must have a separate cover page no matter the genre or medium. Include Name, Address, Telephone, Email, and Title with genre/medium of work listed on the cover page. Because of our blind submission process, do not identify yourself on the artistic submission itself. For multiple submissions, use a separate cover page for each item. Submissions will not be returned, so do not send your only copy. Simultaneous submissions accepted. Submission deadline is January 1, 2012. Projected publication date — Summer 2012.
Imagine is a copyrighted publication owned and published annually by Imago Dei Arts, a 501 (c) 3 corporation. By submitting, you grant permission for one time publication of your work. Following publication, all rights revert to authors.

Literary Arts
Fiction/Prose: A wide variety of themes are accepted, except vulgar or profane. Preference given to spiritual or moral themes. All manuscripts should be computer generated Times Roman or Times New Roman, 12 pt. Font, double spaced—number pages, include title on each page. Two submissions maximum of 2500 or less words.
Non-fiction or How-To: A wide variety of artistic topics are appropriate for non-fiction. Articles about successful Arts Ministries or instructions for creating a specific Christian arts ministry are invited. All manuscripts should be computer generated, Times Roman or Times New Roman, 12 pt. Font, double spaced. Two submissions maximum of 2500 or less words.
Poetry: 40 lines, maximum, not counting the title. No limericks, haiku, or concrete poems such as calligrams, shaped, or visual poems. Other traditional and modern forms are acceptable. For poetry—one poem per page, with a maximum of 40 letters or spaces per line. NO hand written submissions. Five poems maximum.
Performing Arts
Drama: May be presentational, slice-of-life, enacted scripture, monologue, mine, or a combination of forms. Do not submit work that is a compilation or contains material copyrighted by anyone other than the submitting playwright(s). Please use standard script format with a running time of 2-8 minutes. Please submit no more than 3 dramas.
Music: Hymns, praise songs, musicals and a variety of styles are considered. If emailed, music should be submitted in a pdf form, if mailed print on one side of the paper only. All music should number the measures in the score and number the pages. Words should be in Times Roman or Times New Roman, 12 pt. Font, and include title on each page. Please submit no more than 3 songs.
Choreography: Lyrical, Jazz, Modern, praise, hip-hop are all considered. We are interested in a wide variety of styles and including some photos of the movement would be appreciated. Choreography easily understood by a wider audience is more likely to be accepted. All manuscripts should be computer generated Times Roman or Times New Roman, 12 pt. Font, double spaced—number pages, include title on each page. Please submit no more than 3 dances.
Film: Articles or reviews about an upcoming film or production process are accepted. The release of the film should be near or shortly after the magazine publication date. All manuscripts should be computer generated Times Roman or Times New Roman, 12 pt. Font, double spaced—number pages, include title on each page. Please submit no more than 3 film articles.
Visual Art
2-Dimensional: Please submit prints, slides, or digital images of your original artwork. We accept a variety of mediums including but not limited to: drawing, painting, fiber arts, mixed media, and photography. For photos with human subjects, obtain written permissions and/or consent, a copy of which should be included with the submission. Submit up to 5 images of art work.
3-Dimensional: Please submit prints, slides, or digital images of your original artwork. We accept a variety of mediums including but not limited to: sculpture, jewelry, and fiber arts or mixed media. Please submit multiple images of your artwork to show different sides. Submit up to 3 images of each artwork, not to exceed 5 different art pieces.
